I live in San Antonio and that (aside from Hobby Lobby and Michael’s) was the only one I could think of that doesn’t use AC much. That’s BS though, those working conditions sound HORRIBLE. Have you reported them to the better business bureau? or take more legal action?

Yes, my place of employment starts with an M.
Mmmmmhmmmm….
I have only filed with EEOC though you are the second person that suggested the BBB.  The other lady who has been there FAR longer than me and is better at the job is only getting 5-8 hrs per week when she used to get 35.  AND they are giving ALL THE OTHER EMPLOYEES BUT US 37 hours.  She is trying to get a hold of the District Manager and if he won’t talk to her or won’t do anything I think she is going to take legal action.

Although as far as I know they have fixed the a/c problem, now it’s more an issue of taking away our breaks and our hours.

I have THE worst luck of anyone I know.  That’s the only thing that has kept me from filing a lawsuit myself.  I just know I’d lose.

A few years back my husband was driving for his job.   This lady ran a red light while on her cell phone, doing 60 in a 30 zone.  She hit my husband so hard, our car went through two lanes and hit an SUV full of kids (luckily they weren’t hurt).  My husband blacked out and suffered a concussion.  The lady driving on the phone broke her leg.  We went to court.  Our lawyer dropped our case b/c he said my husband “wasn’t hurt badly enough” and the lady sued our insurance company for $30,000 and won, even though the wreck was her fault.

So yeah, not trying my hand at the lawsuit.
